Global stock markets experienced significant turmoil as the 104% tariffs imposed by the United States on Chinese imports came into effect on April 9. Daryl Guppy, CEO of Guppytraders.com, told CGTN that the market turmoil caused by tariff tensions could escalate into a global financial crisis.
