The construction of a future landmark in Shanghai’s Lingang Free Trade Zone has witnessed a significant milestone with the topping out ceremony of the structure, called “Ring of Lingang Glory,” held on Monday. With the last piece of the arc being connected to the remaining parts, the ring shape of the structure is complete. The whole project is expected to be operational by the end of 2024.
The Lingang new area is expected to attract over 800 financial institutions and investment firms in the future and become another financial district similar to the Lujiazui area in the city.
