2024 Maruti Dzire Launching This Year: New Render Surfaces [Video]

Maruti Suzuki India Limited just launched its new Swift fourth generation in India. Now the company, after having a successful launch, is gearing up to introduce its sedan sibling, the Dzire. Like the previous generation models, it will be based on the Swift’s current generation model. However, it will feature a redesigned exterior and interior. Recently, a video rendering of what the new generation Dzire sub-compact SUV could look like has been shared online.

2024 Maruti Suzuki Dzire: Rendering

This video showing the rendering process of the new Dzire has been shared on YouTube by Theottle. It starts with the digital artist designing the front left side of the Dzire. For this, he starts with the new 2024 Swift as the base. He then starts blending in the rear section of a Fiat sub-compact sedan from the international markets.

Following this, he shows the entire process of merging two cars and creating a brand new render. He first blends the main body lines and then starts perfecting the small details. He color matches the rear portion and then adds the same alloy wheels as the Swift.

Next up, he shows the rear end design of this render. For this, he once again starts the process of merging the two cars from scratch. This time, again, he repeats all the processes. Finally, after some time of tweaking and perfecting, we can note that he finishes the design rendering of the upcoming Dzire sub-compact sedan.

2024 Dzire: Details

Now, although this particular artist has used the same front-end design as the Swift, most likely the production spec model will come with a revised front bumper and grille. The test mules of this sedan have already been spotted in the country on numerous occasions.

At the front, the new Dzire will be getting a set of sleek LED headlights and LED DRLs. It will also be getting a set of new machined alloy wheels on the side profile. Additionally, the rear will also get newly designed LED taillights and a new rear bumper.

Interior

As for the interior of the new 2024 Dzire, Maruti could be offering it with a brand-new, more modern-looking interior design. It could get a new 9-inch touchscreen infotainment screen like the new Swift. It will also get wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The car will also get new AC vents, new climate control buttons, and a multifunction flat-bottom steering wheel. The company could also add a few wooden inlays to make it look a little more premium. Some reports have stated that the company will be offering the new Dzire with a sunroof as well.

It is believed that the company will only be offering this feature with the ZXI+ variant. If reports are true, it will become the first in the segment to offer this feature. Its competitors include Honda Amaze, Tata Tigor, and Hyundai Aura.

2024 Dzire: Powertrain

Most likely, it will carry forward the same 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine as the Swift. This new Z12E engine is a 1,197cc, 12-valve DOHC engine. As per the reports, it could generate the same maximum power of 82 bhp and 112 Nm of peak torque as the new Swift. Transmission options will include a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT.
